Calcium fluoride (CaF2) has a high transmittance from ultraviolet to mid infrared (250nm~7um), so it is widely used to manufacture prisms, windows and lenses. In some applications with a wide spectral range, it can be directly used without coating, especially with small absorption and high laser threshold, which is very suitable for excimer laser optical systems.
Known for their excellent transmission in the ultraviolet (UV) to infrared (IR) spectrum, our CaF2 lenses are ideal for demanding optical applications.
Wide Spectral Range: Excellent transmission from 180 nm to 8 μm, covering UV, visible, and IR spectrums.
High Damage Threshold: Suitable for high-power laser systems due to low refractive index and high thermal stability.
Low Dispersion: Minimal chromatic aberration makes them perfect for precision imaging and spectroscopy.
Superior Durability: Resistant to moisture and thermal shock, extending operational lifespan in harsh environments.
